Harmonic Essence is a high-rise home in New Taipei City, designed to frame sweeping city views while creating a space that feels effortless and deeply personal. Originally two separate units, the space was reimagined into an open, elongated layout tailored to a family of three. Every decision was made with intention, shaping a home where function and beauty go hand in hand. A carefully curated mix of materials — specialty paint, marble, aluminum panels, metalwork, wood flooring, wood veneer, upholstered fabric — adds depth and warmth. As sunlight moves through the space, it plays across these surfaces, bringing out their textures and creating a quiet, elegant rhythm throughout the home.
Lines and proportions were carefully considered to bring a sense of structure and ease. Horizontal elements in the ceilings, walls, and cabinetry create a sense of continuity, subtly elongating the space.
